Window seat/built-in dining bench - yes or no?

We are in the process of building a lake home. We have this cool little niche for a dining table. It's our only eating table in the house. I plan to put a large farm table in the space. My question is should I add chairs all around (with 2 cool end chairs) or make a window seat/bench and only add chairs on the end and the other side? Here is a picture from each side and a picture of the beverage center that will be directly across from the table. The room is 12' across and 13'7" to the beverage center.

is this house going to be used in the winter? because if so the "cool" seats could indeed be the ones on the bench, not in a good way. friends have a house with a dining room like this and on new years eve everyone makes a mad dash for a chair rather than sit on the bench and die die DIE of the cold.

something to consider.

if you have enough space you can do both.... have an adequate-but-not-deeper bench, and own enough chairs to have it away from the wall in the winter. you can center your ceiling fixture and swag it over towards the windows when using the bench.
