It is painted redwood. Our original vision was to have the Pavilion's materials match those on the existing Bungalow. It was so beautiful when it was first installed, we had a hard time convincing ourselves to paint it. But we stuck with our vision and it ties in nicely with the Bungalow despite being much more modern.

The assortment of the material on this facade is very nice! I especially like the patina and roughness of the garage door. Was copper used as cladding? Also is this a one piece tilt up door or does it fold? Thanks.
