If you have a good contractor or handyman who can work with wood, they can build a nook like any of these to your specifications, paint it, then paint your walls in sage green (my choice), yellow, grey, or blue to pull stainless steel, white, and marble or granite together. The key to a nook like this is the cushions & pillows you choose! Also, I like the contrast in white cabinetry and stainless appliances with darker pulls, handles, & knobs. The lighting you choose can either make or break a beautiful kitchen without breaking the bank, too.
