My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

A Dull Room Gets Bold with a Black Wall

My client wanted a wow factor in her new room and was in love with the idea of a black wall. We balanced it with an opposing wall in a neutral color and used mirrored side tables and furniture to add some glamour.     Who are you? Amazing transformation! Woulda never considered this - Do like the burgundy chairs thrown into the mix, the dramatic drapes, the mirrors - you pulled it off perfectly!

      Dramatic, for sure. But there doesn't seem to be anything personal here...photos, art, etc. More of a hotel lobby vibe, to me.

      Thanks so much for the feedback. @Ictpdc, I removed framed photos of the family to protect their identity. @homeowner newbee, the Starburst mirrors are from Home Goods but were spray painted silver; the white mirrors were once dark brown.       Holy Cow! This space is awesome to the max! Lighting is always key to any room, but especially when walls are painted black. The mix of pendant, pot, table lamps, etc., is an essential part of this interior success story. The draperies are fab, too! Bravo!
