My wife and I are finally getting to expand our tiny kitchen into our breezeway addition. We need some extra space and storage. Our current house ends just to the left of the dining room table, gaining us a space of about 11 by 25.5 feet to work with.
My plan is to put the kitchen cabinets agains the back wall which overlooks the backyard. I'm thinking it'll wrap a little bit around to the left wall and we would love an island. I think we've got the space for that.
The real dilemma is that we need to come up with a space on the left wall to enter the garage. We also would love to have a small washroom and laundry room so we can gain a bedroom back where our current laundry is. A closet is a must, as well.
I'm a financial guy and do not have much creative vision. We need some help thinking of some good options for layouts. I just can't picture how it could look and what would be acceptable.
Any thoughts? It's a pretty blank canvas and anything is appreciated!!
