After meeting the owners of Bluegrass Hosta Farm a couple years in a row at different plant sales I thought I was really being lazy by not visiting a place so close. To be honest I expected a large field of hostas a "dig your own" type place. I grabbed my friend who happen to live right down the road ( lazy as well as he had never been there either ) and we set off. I knew from the moment we turned into the driveway I had the wrong idea the whole time. I will say I took WAY to few pics! I was a bit overwhelmed to be honest. Not only the hosta but the trees and over all landscaping was breath taking. After only a few moments looking around I noticed that one of the owners had an eye for variegation which is a soft spot in my heart.. so we were off to roam the property. The owners give you a marker board to make notes of anything you would like to purchase later and set you free. I already had a few on reserve from a previous email to them but my want list is now much long...enough with the babble, if your ever in the Georgetown KY area it is a MUST you stop by..
