Yes, I like the dog also, interesting to see the different forms it can take. I have a 'Shaggy Dog' that I'm staking, probably about the same age as yours, from Fincham a few years back?

I'm not sure what it will do in time. I use a small piece of bamboo to keep the leader going up each year and remove it sometime in July once the new growth has "set". So far it's heading in the right direction this year and I haven't had to use the stake but the candles haven't flopped yet.

Looks like Juniperus chinensis 'Gold Coast' or 'Gold Lace'. There are so many low spreading gold juniper cultivars that look similar, It's hard to tell. The foliage looks like Juniperus chinensis to me.

not 'Gold coast' ,,have had 6 over the years,,,,this is only 12 in. high
