Love the change in the cabinet color! We have oak cabinets and I'm debating on painting them white so it's helpful to see your before/after photo.

Great job!! I love that you lowered the counter for a nice seating area for breakfast. It looks a lot more open that way.

Beautiful transformation!

It's the same blue. We painted the entire interior two shades of a light, tiny tone of grey blue when we moved in 6 years ago. The main walls are a lighter shade and the dining room, kitchen and family room are a slight bit darker. It is really a nice shade to live in. It really does feel calm and peaceful - which is nice when you have a chaotic little family like we do!

The flooring is Marazzi Montanga Weathered Gray porcelain tiles from the Home Depot. LOVE the floor. The tone is gorgeous. So nice not to worry about the floor getting damaged.

We used a Swiss Coffee lacquer for the cabinets. It ties in with the crown and base boards.

I used to love maple but it really turned yellow over the years. The cabinets are about 12 years old now.
