We are in the process of replacing our floors and had to take off all the trim, so I thought it would be a good time to replace it. Our home was built in the 80s, so the whole house has the thinner oak trim typical of that era. I think I would like to stick with wood trim (but get a more substantial style) because I like the warmth it adds, but I'm not sure how to make that work with the flooring, doors, and windows. Can I paint the inside of the windows and have wood trim around? I can't even picture what that would look like. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

A couple other notes:
I think we're going to paint the cabinets so that won't be an issue.
Also, the carpet in the bedroom (green wall) will be replaced with the same flooring as the other pictures. Just haven't gotten to that yet!
