Shopping spree

So I got a few more things. I went to "just get potting soil" but kept seeing cool stuff I hadn't gotten yet.

Got some drapey ones. My last string of pearls died on me, so hopefully I have more luck this time.

Bear paws are my favorite! This is another replacement. Right after I moved in last year my cat knocked one off the window sill and it died shortly after. Had to resist the urge to buy a pair.

Got an aloe of some kind, and a jade that I haven't seen around before

Just liked the look of these two. Gonna try and find some interesting pots for them.

I always see these kinds of succulents around, but I am always so focused on getting weird looking ones I never buy them.

My favorite one of the day.

Found a good deal on a desert rose, and since my last one rotted in all the rain we had I couldn't stop myself.

Those are all so cute. I hope they all live for you this time. I used to have trouble with string of pearls, too, but now they thrive and grow thanks to moving them to the gritty mix. I think the "bear paws" is my favorite of the group. I love how the edges ("claws") turn red in the sun, so adorable. Please post updates so we can watch how they progress and grow.

I admit to having trouble saying no to those tempting tiny pots of succulents at the garden centers. They are so promising and there are so very many varieties. We need a thread of 'Plants I Resisted'. ;-)

Suivezmoi, are you in the DFW area? If so, maybe we could trade cuttings!
