blue on the door and a little cottage porch light maybe like this from kichler. Hostas would be a nice addition to the garden. expanding the beds too. ferns etc

Thanks so much flair lighting. I like the hostas idea. That area is full sun though, so i'm not sure if they'd survive. Def. want to change the lighting.

Window boxes are a great idea! I love that color (the red flowers) with the color of your house as well!

I agree with the window boxes and picket fence, very nice. You need landscaping with evergreens at the foundations and flowing shrubs and perennials around of several varieties. Hosta will burn in the sun. Even consider adding a add a few small trees for depth and shade for shade loving plants, like the hosta. Shutters in the moss green or green/ gray colors would be nice.

I think dark green shutters and a reddish door would be nice!
