How can I match these floors

We just bought this house and the flooring varies quite a bit in color and is a more narrow plank than what we have been able to find and local flooring centers. Does anyone know of a brand or wood species that varies like the one shown in the pictures?

Both oak and cherry can have a wide variation in color. Where is the house located, and what year was it built? That might help narrow down what species may have been used.

Looks like Brazilian Cherry to me;)

Hi thanks for the response! The home was built in 1975 and is in Houston Tx. I do not think the floors are original to the home.

Well, if they aren't original then it's harder to determine. I agree that they do look like Brazilian Cherry (jatoba).
