Wild Herb Identification

Can anyone identify this plant for me? It's growing wild (in northern Maryland). The leaves seem to have tiny white spots along the edges.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Some kind of mint? Does it have a square stem? Is it fragrant if you crush a leaf?

Any reason you believe it is an "herb" (as in a useful plant as opposed to the botanical sense whereas it is a herbaceous plant)? While many plants are indeed useful and hence herbs, not all are.

@zzackey I don't think the stem is square, but I'll check. I'll also try crushing a leaf.

@fatamorgana2121 I was kind of going by both definitions of "herb". It's certainly herbaceous, and I was wondering if anyone knows if this is an herb in the useful sense.

Yes, maybe I'll try asking there. I can confirm that the leaves do not have much fragrance and the stem is rounded.
