Tan or blue grey would look nice in room. Love the sofas and the blue chair . The furniture layyout is great for the space too. The tan or blue grey wall color will compliment the room. I Like the rug also. Add accent pillows with stripes, a bold print or other design to blend the brown, blue and tan together.

like this style too,would not think you need to change much, love the bleu chair,that would be a good startingpoint, more of that color dotted around in your room,so maybe you can find a softer bleu paint for the high wall and some soft furnishing with a print that pulls all your colors together,have enclosed some pics not sure about the rug but it certainly has all the colors,also you could have a smaller but square rug and i would buy a big hockertray in a lighter wood to brighten it all up

One more blue chair next the its mate and a new glass coffee table. Over the piano, a huge oil painting in the blues of the chair. Leave your wall paint as is. Let go of the rug and just use a small area rug in front of all the upholstered pieces. I think if you do a piece of art on the wall, your wall paint will be beautiful.
