I have seen thrips on all 3-4 of my potted herbs and major stippling with some browning. These are only a handful of pots (but my only one of each type of herb) and very young/transplanted a month ago or less.

I've heard neem oil, spinosad, and pyrethrin. I have neem on hand as well as a bottle of Safer brand fruit and veg insect killer with active ingredient of "Potassium Salts of fatty acids" (the bottle says it kills thrips so that's why I mention).

I'd like to spray something tonight, if possible.

What is the best course of action?
