I never think of Oriental beetles as being leaf eaters, preferring flowers. Hopefully, you aren't seeing a lot of damage to your vegetable garden. I really can't see the image well enough to suggest another possibility.

As fas as spots go, it would be very helpful to see a good picture of the damage. Spider mite stippling looks very different than the spotting caused by thrips, leaf hoppers, four-lined plant bug, and several others.

I removed all the bad leaves and it made new growth.

I have seen what looks like mildew on the undersides also. Extremely difficult to capture in a picture.

I am looking at the light green specs on the leaves. I am only looking this closely because of the issues I had earlier in the season.... (see above linked thread)

Peter, since you're concerned and we really can't see the problem, you might want to contact your local county Cornell Cooperative Extension office to learn how to gather and bring a sample of an affected leaf.

If you haven't explored their website, you should.

Ok, well good to know you don't see an issue in the current photos (definitely can't miss the issue in the other thead...) If I have further problems with yellowing and wilting I will consider contacting Cornell, but they are not cheap.

Don't you have a local Agricultural office you can visit with that photo? Their advice should be free. BTW, spider mites are not visible to the human eye.
