I found two problems with my basil. I noticed holes in the leaves (these are leaves on the top of my plant - and the plant is in my vegetable garden). I also noticed silver-ish looking patches on the leaves. While taking pictures I also found a bug on one of the leaves. I am not sure if this bug is a problem or not but does anyone know what is eating my basil and if these two issues (holes and the silver spots) are related?

Is there any treatment or protection which can be offered? thank you
