How to make concrete slope driveway flat (no longer need garage)

Hi, I was wondering if there's any ideas for making a 8ftx20ft sloped concrete driveway flat again so I can use it as a patio area. I heard that pouring new concrete on top would just slide off after a while.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Or is tearing it out and redoing it the only option?
