a heavy iron, or a medium-weight?

I use my iron mostly for pressing seams when I'm sewing. (I don't do a ton of sewing--maybe 6 garments in a year.)

I dropped my reliable Rowenta Clip-Up and broke it, so I need to get a new one. I was looking at the $80-or-so Rowentas as BB&B, and they also have one for $50 or so. And other brands, of course.

The Rowenta was really heavy--which is good, because you don't have to press down. But it was also really heavy, and I thought it might be tiring to keep lifting it around, etc. I'm only getting older, and I have wimpy forearms.

What do you think? And, any recommendations you'd have about an iron to get?
