Our design dilemma is where to place a pergola in relation to the deck?
1. We need a small upper deck about 6' x 14' (just enough for two chairs)
2. Below the deck will be a patio (400 sq. ft.)
3. Some where on the patio there will be a 12' x 12' pergola for shade.
I have recently removed all but 6' of the existing upper deck, to give an idea about where the new smaller deck will be.
