Fireplace wall before and after.

We started with this ugly old brick fireplace wall. Because it took up so much of the space, we furred them out, drywalled and added these 18x36" tiles.

    Nice! I like the roof change, it opens the room up and makes it feel less crowded. Modern but soft.

    Thanks for the comments! This house was a disaster that took 5 weeks to demolish and three months to complete. We hope to find new owners soon!

    Is the bottom of the fireplace about 24 inches from the floor. I am trying to make a decision.

    I believe it is 27" from the floor to the bottom of the unit.

    mariakeating - We used SW7012 creamy. It was tough to find a color that went with the fireplace tiles. calikym - the house is in Omaha, NE.
