'It has been indoors the entire time' ..... I think that is the root of your problem. There is almost never sufficient light for any herbs inside unless you have grow lights or huge windows. Your plant is showing signs of etiolation - pale colour, long thin shoots, leaf drop and stress. It also looks rather wet. If it was in a greenhouse when you bought it I would introduce it gradually to outdoor life and hope that fresh air and sunlight improve its health. And hold off the watering until it shows signs of actually needing it. If it was from a supermarket produce section the chances are slimmer as it was bred for fast sale and quick use, not long term culture.

Thank you very much for your reply! I have sliding glass doors that I have kept it by since purchasing it that I open every morning/afternoon (depending on the heat from the sunlight). So it does get plenty of light, I believe. I am severely allergic to grass pollen and have very bad allergy problems, which is why I keep my plants indoors to access and prevent the need to weed. Additionally, all the other plants that I have potted for my porch outdoors have come down with diseases or pests. We live on farm land which feels like there are 10x more bugs drawn to our area, haha!

In any case, I did buy it from a supermarket, so you mentioning it not being a long term culture could very well be my problem. I will hold off on watering it for a bit as you suggested. If it dies, I can always start over with a greenhouse variety, I suppose. Thanks again.
