Well, I can't say for sure since I'm new to roses, but it looks exactly like my Ramblin' Red climber. It's new growth is that same shade of green w/ red (new canes are red) & you can see upper right petal had a white stripe like your picture shows & had one when fully opened. I don't know how/why that stripe was there & I just purchased/planted this spring so I don't know what's up with the stripe!

Btw, I'm in zone 4b/5a & this rose is supposedly hardy to zone 3. Like I said, I can't say for sure that's what this rose is, but it's bloom & foliage color looks exactly the same as mine. Mines in full sun, so bloom color did fade after a few days to a red w/ less blue undertones, like the bloom color in your pic.

Yep, not Ramblin' Red! I'm sure there's lots of roses with foliage like that, but in my novice world it's the only one, lol! ;)

It looks similar to Mr Lincoln. He tends to have a white streak on his petals sometimes and is very fragrant. Although he tends to get tall. I think there are also other hybrid teas that are red with the white streak.

Looks a lot like my Veteran's Honor!

And VH does occasionally throw sprays.

Well...if it's very fragrant then it can't be Veterans' Honor. Mine has no fragrance what so ever!
