Need help combining guest room and home office

I will be working from home full-time and the best space for our home office is a fairly unused guest room. We would still like it to be available for guests, but can use mostly for home office. We currently have a hutch, dresser and L-shaped desk available for use.

How about utilizing a daybed like this attractive multi-purpose room?

I agree. Either a day bed that doubles as a couch, or a Murphy bed that doubles as a desk or shelving.
