We have gutted our 1954, 40sq foot bathroom. There are still some original features in the house (glass door knobs, floors, mahogany doors). I'm trying to remain true to the home, but still be contemporary/modern. I'm thinking white 3" x 6" matte subway with slim line grey marble accent and mosaic marble floor. My questions are: should I use that size subway or should I go larger? And should I lay them in a brick pattern or vertical stacked. We live downtown in a larger city and intend on selling in the next 4-6 years. Any suggestions you have for such a small bathroom would be appreciated.
