You are right Sharon. The girls talk about all the little trips we took while they were growing up. It was sometimes a trial, but the older they get, the more they appreciate them. The boys will, too.

I am glad you are having fun camping with your family. Pictures of your pop-out camper reminded me of the 1 we had before my son was born. It had a pop-out on the front end like yours and then it had a pop-out with queensize bed on the opposite end. The first time we took it to my hubby's family reunion a high wind storm came up the first night ... several members of his family were in RV's and the wind caught the camper and lifted one side of it and we were scrambling to get out bed and his cousin came knocking on our door about that time and he and DH got the canopy down and put away. We were living in Texas at the time and RVing with pop-outs it was just too hot when temps would sore well above 100*F and did not cool down much at night... so later we traded it and got an RV that was full hard shell exterior. Fun days though. Thanks for sharing your trip.

You are so right about them getting hot. That is why we have the silver blankets on the bunks. That really made a BIG difference. We could run the air conditioner on low and stay comfortable.

RVing is the best way to vacation.
