Folks

1) apart from usb, are there any other special things we can put on outlets these days?

2) does anybody know of an outlet higher than 4A total to the USB ports? The phones are drawing more and more power and today, i have 2 phones that would draw up all the 4A on this one

I want to future proof it a little so maybe 8A would help but can't find anything

The spec absolutely caps the current at 1.5A per device and 5A per port.

Standard for Class 2 Power Units
