Can you post some pictures of your bedroom so we can see your floor and furniture?

The one thing to keep in mind with lighter grays is that they have a lot of lavender in them so you might end up with a room that is as much lavender as gray. A good way to see this is to look at your paint swatch in the bright noonday sun, especially with a bunch of paint swatches fanned together like a hand of cards.

If I was going to go with gray and I wasn't a purple fan, I'd go with one with a greenish undertone. Blueish grays are also very attractive.

I changed my mind and want to use white paint on the walls instead of gray. Want more flexibility with bedding, etc. Do you have any suggestions??? again redish wood floors ...tan furniture big armour, large headboard and footboard...... silver accessories....Also the walls are knockdown which tends to mute color. contemporary. Also, what would I paint the baseboards if the walls are white???

A nice neutral that's not exactly a pure white but it has a hint of a gray and it is gray owl by Benjamin Moore . I have used it in several houses and it is warm and it still has a bit of a great cast if you want to bring in blues or Gray's instead of your beiges .
