My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Do you have any pictures of the cabinets? That would be helpful.

    There are quite a few different paints from various mfg's that would probably work well. It really depends on the look you want (gloss, matte, etc) and how the paint will be applied (roller and brush or sprayer).
