Thanks for your positive comments. This quartz counter is Caesarstone's Frosty Carrina 5141. My clients originally wanted a marble counter, but when I showed them a sample of this elegant warm white with subtle grey veining quartz they fell in love with it. Like marble, it's classic in look, but it doesn't fall victim to the downsides of a natural material. I'm a huge fan of quartz because it doesn't need to be sealed and it's extremely durable, non-porous, scratch resistant and virtually stain resistant. Hope this info helps.

Thanks for the information. Did you find that the marble backsplash competed with the grey veining in the Quartz? We are doing Cambria torquay on the counters and are finding marble backsplash too busy. We are likely going to do a white subway tile.

My pleasure! The Caesarstone quartz counter I used for my client has delicate veining, which is why it worked beautifully with the subtle Carrara marble backsplash. Cambria Torquay also has subtle veining, but if you feel it's competing with a Carrara backsplash then certainly go for a white subway tile. That said, why not try to find a
white backsplash tile that is unique to give your kitchen some drama. Have you considered a penny tile backsplash or a white porcelain tile in an interesting shape (hexagon, for example)? Avoid a stark white backsplash tile with Torquay. It will be too cool. Keep me posted on your picks.

Thank you so much for the reply! Here are our current choices for backsplash. Either beveled or flat subway. Not a fan of hexagon. What do you think of these?

It's tough because both of these backsplashes look good. Still, the beveled one is more unique. Instead of using a white grout, you may want to consider a light, warm gray grout. It will pick up on the gray veining in the counter and tie everything together beautifully.
