This kitchen area is in one corner of a larger open concept living space, with the fireplace in diagonal opposite corner. Lots of windows as well as a french patio door, so there will be lots of natural light. The hardwood floors will be throughout the entire space, including adjoining hallways and a small office that also has good natural light. Flooring will be oak, and we'll have a chance to choose whether to stain it or finish it natural. I am happy that we have most of the other main elements in place already, it will be the best case for viewing some samples on the spot. But I am unsure about whether to keep the floors light, go darker, etc. So I am just curious to hear what some other people think when they see these pictures. Thanks!
