    The entire room is 4 ft. x 8 ft.

    Thank you, mine is 5X9. I think this is the best layout option for the space. Can you tell me the width of the shower and vanity?

    The vanity is 27" and shower is 3'x4'. Your space of 5x9 is very typical size and works well with this design. You can do a little over 3' for your shower, then pony wall, 36" vanity, 30" space for toilet for code.

    Thank you. i previously read that toilet code is 36", good to know that it is 30". in order to keep toilet plumbing were it is currently, my toilet will be next to the shower. My current vanity faces the shower opposite a shower/tub combo and takes the entire length of the bathroom. A smaller vanity facing forward will provide me with more floor space. I will probably need to have a plumber move the existing sink plumbing. Do you have a pocket door or regular door?
