I have a thriving caper bush. It's in full sun in decomposed, well drained granite. Very sandy. My plant is only about 3 months old. I plan to spray it with a product called Cloud Cover if frost is predicted this winter. My plant hasn't bloomed yet, but it's very happy in it's spot and has tripled in size.
