changing my bathroom door swing direction

Want to change the direction my bathroom door swings. Currently it swings inside the bedroom cutting off space in a small bedroom. When I change the swing it will be in front of the shower. Would this look odd? PS The door would not be a problem using the shower.

A pocket door or barn door are other options if you can't change the direction of the swing.

It won't look odd. It's not usually done that way but it'll look fine.

If the shower is adjacent to the doorway, the plumbing may interfere with space needed for the pocket door. Check both sides of the doorway to make sure there are no other interferences... like electrical, etc.
