Hi Jodi! Lovely room. You are sort of approaching this backwards. You can have a vision for your room, but choose the actual color last. Here is a fabric you had in your idea book. You could incorporate this color into your room....just one idea.

Your idea book shows lighter tones, with a hint of aqua. You could look toward that. You should definitely paint the ceiling and tray, currently being ignored.

Here is what I would do in this order:

1) Remove the little shelves, plates and small chair. Remove the centerpiece.
2) Decide if you really want to keep the dark chairs and table. I think you could definitely keep the black especially if the paint were a much lighter color. Or you could paint the table white or vice versa
3) Choose a rug.
4) Choose art and/or a mirror for the wall
5) Consider replacing the end chairs with upholstered ones
