Hi- it's my first time with a question!

I bought the West Elm Monroe Mid-Century Sofa http://www.westelm.com/products/mid-century-sofa-h1468/?pkey=cupholstery-on-sale|sofas-on-sale| because it was available fast, it's low (and we have low ceiling) and we just moved to a small condo in the city.

Turquoise was chosen because an idea I had, is to use the colors of the fountains in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum (Turquoise, olive green, a little blue). I have a mostly plain green (toward brown hue) rug. Considering throwing 1 or 2 smaller oriental rugs angled on it.

I am not a fan of using all furniture from the same period and my living room is very small. The walls will have a lot of different sized art.

Two questions: I have an early American black bench in black from the house I grew up in. Would that just be silly to mix in?

I need 2 smaller chairs with a short depth and back height to sit next to a tall marble table in front of the window. I really don't like a modern look and want comfort as no other chairs will fit. What type chair do you suggest I mix eclectically with this couch? (not on a huge budget either)
