Looks like a triangle log cabin. I'm sure it has a special name, but looks like you could make the blocks like a log cabin.

Here's a site with the quilt...and it includes a link to the instructions for making the triangles. If you don't have the specialty ruler, you should be able to just use the 60-degree lines on your regular ruler. Very pretty design!!
