Wow, these are fanstastic! Look like fireworks. :) I would definitely do the acrylic version... I'm into the look-for-less kind of thing. And the reviews are great, so why not? While I do like the firework effect, I'm not sure it's what I envisioned for my dining room... looking for a round, tiered look that's flat on top and has cascading beads. Have you considered buying something in the right shape and color for a much cheaper price and then going to somewhere like hobby lobby and buying strands of jewelry-making beads and adding them to an existing fixture? That's an option if you are creative and motivated! which is sounds like you are very motivated!! ;) They have already pre-strung necklaces etc. in almost every color I'm pretty sure.

I agree with mpoulsom about finding something basic, and then adding to it. (Maybe check Ebay or even Amazon.com) Although, I would suggest purchasing yards of crystal beads from a website like Cristalier.com. They have good prices and for the look you are wanting, it looks like you will need several yards. I work with chandeliers and have purchased from them before. Good luck! :)

Mpoulsom, I have thought about that. While I can be quite crafty, I have not made a chandelier yet! I'd have to do some searching for DIYs on the topic, that's for sure. I have found some affordable faux crystal chandeliers in the wedding/event rental industry though which surprised me. They are perfect except don't actually have a light inside it, just the chandelier without an actual light fixture in it. Thought about getting that and adding a light somehow but it would be great if I could find the complete package (less work)! Thanks for your suggestions!!
