New collector(pictures)

The above picture was taken before I started repotting them and leaving them all over the place. I need more room.

I am a relatively new collector. Here are some pictures of my collection. Some of the plants are just shots from different angles. I dont know why my monadenium leaves are turning yellow its either too much water or not enough light maybe both. I just fertilized my pachy, adenium and i gave a little to the monadenium but now have to let them dry out pretty good and give them all more sun. It looks like one of my obesums is stretching a bit but after tonight it will have more light. I am moving the rack out into the sun instead of filtered shade/light shade. I hope I dont loose to many if any at all.

Nice collection you have...As I stated on another post, Monadenium are susceptible to root rot, so water sparingly. Your Lithops and Adenium are in way too large a pot.

Great collection. So many beautiful plants. Should label each of the pictures for us newbies who are trying to learn :) How old are the Adenium?

As the 'Mother of a billion'will be doing it's thing to every pot, your starer collection is off to a good start. Agree pot sizes shapes would be something to discuss. If you have some questions feel free to ask or just search the forum and peek at some others who have same plants

Just be careful during transitioning, try not to chase the sun to rectify or satisfy the will of others consider shade cloth let the sun find them. My opinion you may want research some options so you can sort them out, not everything you have there grows in the same sun light season.

I recently re potted my Adenium into a smaller pot. It is about 7 months old. Then I was looking at my Monadenium this morning, it is loosing its two leaves but it has at least 5 that I counted swollen buds, hopefully It will be getting another set of leaves soon. I cant tell if the Monadenium pot is too big, It is twice the size but I am way off center when I plant it in the pot so if you notice there is a lot of space in the front and almost none in the back. I had it in the smalles blue pot you can see in the picture but it started cracking the pot. I Dont want to move them right away I will give it a few weeks before I repot anything to center them. The only real problem I am having now is my Dorstenia it looks like it has rust on the leaves only I see no spores. I cant remember that other disease plants get I wanted to ask if the Dorstenia could get it.. it kinda sounds like malaria.. grrr not remember is frustrating! As far as my stapelias I have gigantica and purpurea but I dont know the other two. they didn't have labels when I bought them. I finally moved them out of partial shade/ filtered light to full light yesterday evening. Luckly it was 107 here yesterday so the water I gave them in the morning was dried by about 7pm yesterday evening. I take regular cactus mix you get at home depot and I add a lot of perlite and horticulture sand It dries up pretty fast. Im heavy on the water so I made my soil with a lot of sand and perlite to try and counter act my heavy watering habits I water once a week and my hose just broke is it will be awhile before I water again. at least a week or week and a half. I always let the entire pot dry before watering and then when I do water I let it run all the way through the pot.

Beautiful plants! Looks like you have a few Euphorbia obesa? I just had to throw mine out due to stubborn pests. Am enjoying looking at yours.

The Monadenium you're concerned about is in the lower part of the second picture, correct? I have a Mon. that's different but similar growth habit, I think. My Mon. doesn't keep its leaves all the time. The yellowing leaves on your Mon. might be normal. I see rocks on the soil surface of the pot. I don't know if the rocks are everywhere in the soil or only on the top. If they're only on the top then I recommend removing the rocks. Rocks on top of soil can cause the soil to hold moisture for longer than is good for cacti and succulents.
