36" pro style range around ~3k

Any suggestions? Thinking either a Bertazzoni or a Bluestar RCS? I don't have many hangups but it's gotta have a convection oven (I don't do any baking, just roasting meat, veggies, etc.). Also I do a lot of searing. Meat, meat, meat. :)

The capital MCR366 or RCS36 are your best bet in the $3800-$4000 range. Those will have Infrared burners which are hotter than the others.

Smeg and bertazzoni are decent. The Smeg has 6 burners are a lower price point. That's the C36GGXU

I just ordered the Verona 36" Dual Fuel (VEFSGE365NSS) for my sisters renovation. They haven't hooked it up yet, but did unwrap it and it seems pretty sturdy and pretty for the $2.5K price tag

Thanks joe great suggestions. I haven't heard much good about Verona but I'll look into that more too.

Is there anything Thermador in this price range?

I know I did a lot of reading out of reviews for the same thing, and every range I found had significant drawbacks. In the end I decided that I'll do 36" cooktop and 30" wall oven. There's seems to be way more options that way.

I've been seeing the same thing, feens81. I'm not sure I really have the right config for that setup but that's a really good point and probably worth looking into as well.

thermador's cheapest 36" range is $5699…but it comes with a free dishwasher…good product but well above your stated budget.

Smeg also has a 5 burner dual fuel that is in $2199. Not bad. Im not a big dual fuel guy…a lot more things to break IMHO without much return in cooking performance
