My wife and I are moving into our home next week, and we're planning on having a few rooms painted before we move in.

We've selected a few colors that we like, but since my wife wants to paint the entire room, rather than accent walls, I'm concerned that the colors may be overwhelming.

Thus, I suggested that we go with light variations of the colors, rather than bold deeper colors. But, I like some of the bolder options as well (see attached).

Does the board have any suggestions/insight into this approach? I figured I could learn from what others have done in the past, and at least gain some things to consider.

House info:
- 10 foot ceilings
- planning on painting the master and two bedrooms (entire rooms - not accent walls)
