We have an illegal suite in our house, which is a very common thing in our area. We have an electrical inspection coming up for an exterior project, and the inspector is going to need to come inside to see the panel.

The fact that we have a stove and hood fan in here are what make it an illegal suite. We are going to remove the pieces, but need a creative way to cover up the space.

Does anyone have any creative ideas for how we can fill in this space to make it look normal?
