Consider checking out IKEA for curtains (EIVOR pattern might be kind of neat). Perhaps a subtle, earthy pattern using the dark gray, green, and beige would look really cool.

I don't like much pattern on curtains as I think it usually cheapens the. one thing you can do is look for panels and if they are too short you can buy two different colors and add a stripe at the bottom

I think coral/orange color will brighten the room

I would go with orange or green or both. But, I checked out "In its Place's" suggestion of EIVOR from Ikea and think something like that would look great too.

Beautiful modern space. Roman shades for sure. I think curtains wouldn't be consistent with your clean look. Check The Shade Store for some ideas.

Great makeover so far! If you want a more modern look, you could go with bamboo shades or cellular shades. Bamboo will give your space great texture and cellular shades will save you money on energy costs and help to insulate your windows.

I would go with a modern roller type blind for a more minimal and lighter look. Given the dark wall and rug, adding drapes may make it feel too cave like.

Hi again - I wouldn't get cellular shades. We have some in the bedrooms and they get very icky and are impossible to clean. I've been trying to get a dead moth out. Can't reach it.

Suzyq53, you can use a blowdryer on a low, cool setting to get the dead moth out. Here's a video about cleaning cellular shades. Hope it helps.

I'm not a fan of sticks as decor. Try more of your orange in a floor lamp for the corner. I'd advise Hunter Douglas Silhouette shades for a soft yet contemporary .look, plus versatile light and view control. You can add stationary panels with them if you like.
