I would recommend contacting a company like Budget Blinds to come to your house and template the upper windows so blinds can be inside mounted within the frames. Matching blinds could be installed on the lower windows as well as the door. These could be a lightweight honeycomb type of blind which will operate easily and also give you insulation from heat and cold.

I like the uppers - very dramatic. If you don't need to shut out the early sun, use your favorite blind style with or without drape, etc. on the "regular" windows. A wise houzzer noted that upper windows or wall space need not be decorated above 8-10 feet.
