Yes.

With respect I think that variety is running -not clumping.

It’s serene and beautiful.

It can grow 12’ in one season no problem.

I don’t know anything about bamboo—except that my husband bought some from a man in Missouri (we live in Northwest Arkansas) and it is my own personal nightmare. It grew like it should be in a Stephen King novel. It is taller than our house, impossible to kill, cut, wrangle (for me, at least) and for what seems like 99.9% of the year, sheds five bazillion trillion little leaves everywhere.
Pea gravel in between the stone pavers is no longer a necessity because—what pavers? Who can see the pavers?! Everything is covered with bamboo leaves/pods/whatever they are called.
I thought about setting them on fire, but figure they would probably just mutate into some sort of Little Shop of Horrors situation.
My husband loves the bamboo and thinks it’s the greatest thing ever, but he also our koi pond, which contains no koi because water moccasins keep eating them.
In short, the bamboo in these photos are beautiful; I daydream about having a yard a fraction as beautiful; and I wish determining clumping vs non bamboo were my biggest bamboo challenge. :)

yep! Always have to contain bamboo, Always, any kind of barrier like the concrete she has their or containers. It is beautiful when contained
