What are your goals for the function/use of the room?

I would move the chair to the opposite corner and place the desk and chair under the window where the chair is now.

I would remove the bed if it is strictly a woman cave...maybe a day bed...or futon. I'm not sure if it is suppose to be a guest room as well. I think the chair would tie into your boho theme..the desk can be used as well. I can see some orange-red and teals in the room.

How about a long credenza on the wall where the chair is now? That would help with your office storage, too.

Will you use the chair? I'd probably remove it because in MY room it would rapidly become a place to drop all my stuff!

The placement looks nice but I do think the bed is too big for the space....if you absolutley wanted to keep it...maybe you could place it horizontal against the wall with lots of the pillows and like a sheer think hanging over it.

I would keep the chair...I'm personally a fan of it and it is a cozy spot to read a book in.

Please don't take this personally, but this room needs some boldness. Currently, it reminds me of a dorm room. If you must keep the bed, then add a larger piece of art about the headboard - something with a bold frame. You need perhaps some colorful shams/euro shams at the headboard, and a coordinating bed throw at the bottom of the bed, to say the least. If you can't afford to paint the walls, then go with some colorful valances or one panel on either side of bed where windows are. The papasan chair is always great for reading, but if you can get it out of the room, I'd do that. If you must keep the chair, put it in that corner near the other window with a pillow that coordinates with the other bed items. A nice lightweight looking scroll iron art or such over where your chair and desk are. Or even a tall black book case with a modern few pieces of art for a vignette. Desk - I cannot see, but if you can't get a new one that is a nice statement piece, then put a piece of glass over the top of it with some colorful paper/fabric print under it and re-cover the chair cushion. A nice rug - perhaps with some black in it to anchor the room. Angle the desk a little, perhaps. I'd also paint it if you can. If not, an accent color on the wall over where the desk is, maybe -- the drapes/window treatments over the windows will help balance the other parts of the room. I've attached some ideas for thought (these do not necessarily go together - just some ideas). Best to you!

Hi, I would place the bed on the right wall since the room looks larger that way and it is the largest piece in the room, it will look more spacious. Then place a small accent table as a night stand & lamp where the mirror is on the floor in your first photo. I would then remove the chair from the room because it takes up too much space because it is round. Instead, I can see the desk/chair on the left wall close to the window and perhaps add a small lounging sofa or settee next to the desk. Accessorizing is important as well. Very nice space with lots of potential :)

If you removed the bed you could move the desk into the middle between the two windows. Hanging a large piece of art or an arrangement of pictures would brighten up the space! A mirror like the one Sustainable Home shared would work nicely there as well!

Or you could have one side of the room for lounging and the other for an office/organization space! You can fill the gaps with fun floral arrangements, bright colored side tables, or shelving filled with your favorite knick knacks. Here are some pictures for inspiration:

I would make this room into a soft and calm "cave" heading towards a natural, organic feel and suggest dividing it into two areas. Relaxing area: place bed on far right wall, place fur rug on floor, add table/lamp and some art above and layering bedding will make your bed much more interesting and place your woven throw over the end on just across the bed randomely. If you removed the bed, then you have to start buying more furniture (as well, it could be used for guests). You could also remove the head/foot board and place length wise and add pillows along the back, so it's a day bed. Sitting area: move desk and chair to wall on the left and add a mirror above, so it can also be used as a vanity also. You could also add floating shelfs (see below for decorating). I would distress the desk/chair and add a cushion. Place your Papasan chair by the window (I love to curl up in ours and read), and place a mohair throw over the back. Look for a reclaimed wood table and add a light for reading (like one in first picture). Ground the seating area with a natural woven rug and even add a large pouff and pillows on the floor. Add accessories, like baskets, art, wooden carvings, etc. and some plants. pieces.

I like the new layout better but I would move the papasan chair to the wall opposite the window.

You have glorious ceiling height, amplify it! The window panels suggested above would help too. If the bed is not used get rid of it! IF it is... a dramatic headboard or art installation above.

I'm so glad..it would feel so calming, minimal yet warm. It is also easily adaptable, depending on your changing needs - like a yoga area! Don't spend a lot on major furniture pieces..the accessorizing and smaller items will make the difference. Have fun.

I think you should decide on the comforter or coverlette and then decide if you want to keep your white or use a color from the bedding. I wouldn't spend the money on new drapes if they aren't needed and instead purhase lovely bedding (if you are keeping it in the centre of room) and use your throw on the chair instead. If using as a day bed, white drapery or the color of any of the pillows you will have to be adding.

Have you considered turning or moving the bed and having it take on the appearance of a daybed? That would go really well with the rest of the furniture and would open up more space in the living area. I love the minimalist look you are going for and the rug and wood really add warmth to the space.

The window panels should echo the Boho/southwest theme. One of the themes of southwest is the color turquoise, the color terra cotta, with silver. I would pick a panel that would bring some boldness into the room while picking up some of the existing elements- this has a cream stripe to play off the fur, and has the colors of the southwest:

You could paint the walls and just use sheers for the windows, if you wanted a more flowy feel. If you don't use the papasan much, I'd get rid of it. We had one in our sunroom and I had to sell it when we sold the house. They takes up so much space! If you do keep, I like the desk on the side closest to where you walk in and the papasan near the far corner. You can use a stripe or geometric for the panels if you want color there. Again, you need height on the wall above the bed, and something bold along the far wall. The beauty of buying things is you can always return them if you don't like! :) There are so many lightweight items out on the market that are large for decor now, you can't go wrong!
