Paint the door trim the same plum color. It makes the whole door stand out.

Thank you all - I missed the lightbulbs, I'll re-evaluate them and the fixture. I agree about the curtains in the sidelights, it's strictly a privacy issue (we get a lot of walkers by!), and I still wanted to peek out at who was ringing our doorbell!

I agree with painting the garage doors the same pale gray of the siding. If you want to keep your curtains on your side lites, consider lining them in white so they appear to blend in with the trim versus adding a third color. I would leave the trim in white as well, as you don't have anywhere else that it makes sense to add gray. I love Carol's idea of painting the planters the same plum color as your door! It will pull that color over to another part of the house.

Nice, thank you! I actually bought the film for the sidelights, but there's no peephole, so you wouldn't be able to see a visitor. Brilliant idea to line the sheers- maybe even a flat opaque panel.

How about this? You can use your existing paint and know that it will be an exact match. Less than 5 bucks at Lowe's!
