Looking for new lighting in kitchen...

I Want to replace the ceiling box that houses 2 4' fluorescents. Any suggestions?

Are you taking out the box and making the ceiling smooth? Or are you wanting different bulbs other than fluorescent?
If it's different bulbs, then try the new LED version. Easier on the eyes lighting.
If you take out the box and make it smooth, then perhaps small 4" can lights.
