My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

here are my before and after pictures of our living room. i bought this house last july, and with the help of houzz where i got most of decorating ideas. first picture was the "before", 2nd picture is the "after". comments and suggestions to make it more beautiful is very welcome. thanks houzz.

      Very nice. The only comment I would make is that the corner of the room where you have the desk seems a little cluttered (it looks like you have a portable file box next to the desk). If you move that, it would look less cluttered.

      I love what you have done, but don't understand the small area rug in front of the fireplace . What purpose does it serve there? Wouldn't it be better used in front of the sofa?

      Also, matching curtains will make the space appear larger. If you need blackout curtains by the sliding door, you can by monochromatic curtains in a heavier material to match the livingroom curtains.
