Kitchen cabinet and wall color

Small kitchen with 85" high ceilings, cedar ceiling, Cambria, color is Parys, quartz, for counter tops. I think white is too stark for cabinets or walls. Thinking a greyish taupe? Help please. It is a cottage on a Maine island. Cottage is being built starting this month.

Working with stock plan, arts and craft cottage built on a ledge, great view of harbor and ocean. Kitchen is 9x12. Look forward to your color ideas . Thanks

I don't think you can go wrong with a neutral greyish taupe.

SW6206 Oyster Bay would be perfect (and so is the name!). It's a beautiful greeny gray. I also suggest SW6204 Sea Salt for the kitchen walls. Perfect with your Parys Cambria countertop!
